Otago Golf Club
#31 Do - play golf on one of our amazing local courses. This morning I headed out early to the Otago Golf Club course in Balmacewen (I love it when it's so quiet and all my terrible shots go unnoticed!) The Otago Golf Club was established in 1871. It's New Zealand's oldest golf club, and was started by members who had to get their equipment sent from England. It's hosted the NZ Open 7 times, is only a few minutes drive from the city centre and has my favourite golf hole on the 11th - The Glen, which I can only describe as tranquil. And a tad frustrating if the ball heads to the right into the trees...!
