Dada Dress

#41 Buy - locally designed and made clothing. My birthday present in March was a gorgeous merino wool dress by Dada - designed and made right here in Dunedin. Marie Strauss, owner and designer of Dada (and amazing artist), uses locally owned company Otago Knitwear to manufacture her designs and I purchased it directly from her boutique store in Moray Place. I wore my dress today to the Unstitched community hub in George St, set up as part of Fashion Revolution week, the global movement to make us think 'who made my clothes'. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to celebrate locally designed and produced garments ❤️
