##54 Buy - Be Preened by Preens! I love finding vintage clothing, especially woollen garments, which I always take into Preens on Castle St for dry cleaning. I'm excited for my newly dry cleaned vintage cream cable knit, perfect for wearing today, so cosy and warm on a rainy cold day. I enjoyed chatting to Steve Wellington about Preens - a local family business, it was established in the 1920s by the Preen family and Steve's Dad, Mark Wellington, bought the business in 1979 (having owned Snow White Laundry in Dunedin with his father prior to that) and now Steve and his brother Rick are also involved in the business. How cute is this photo of Preens being advertised on an old trolley bus in Dunedin!
