Spelt Bakery

#59 Eat - Baked goods from Spelt Bakery on Highgate. Today I popped in and bought one of their famous baguettes, a spelt loaf (it was still warm and as it's made from spelt flour, the bread has a delicious nutty flavour) and a couple of treats - there is a huge cabinet of very tasty looking sweet treats. Spelt is locally owned by James Musk. He started the business 5 years ago, and each morning at 2am they're underway making everything they sell from scratch. They are also super generous and community focussed as they participate in the FoodShare program, where unsold goods are donated to those in need in our community
