#65 Buy - very cute and locally made baby toys by Gepetto Toy Craft. Owners Neil and Raewyn Garden have been making a range of these gorgeously colourful, happy faced wooden toys and rattles since 1980. Made in my hometown of Alexandra in Central Otago, they use New Zealand sycamore, which is mostly sourced locally within Otago. The factory store is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (and the Dunedin stockist is Miracle baby store). I had a nice chat with Neil as I popped in today to re-stock my present cupboard
