PURE New Zealand Ice Cream

#79 Eat - Pure New Zealand Ice Cream. Made in the beautiful little town of Wanaka, Pure New Zealand Ice Cream was established by Richard and Tracey after they made the move from Sydney to Wanaka in 2004. They use milk (collected daily and pasturised on site) from Lagoon Valley Farm in Wanaka and NZ ingredients in their icy treats such as local Manuka honey, Nelson berries and home-made honeycomb. Tonight was delicious mascarpone, date and orange. It's the perfect occasional sweet treat, and I love that you get good chunks of date. I can also highly recommend the salted caramel and fig and honey!
