Otago Boys' High School
#82 Do - see the stunning Otago Boys' High School building, it is especially beautiful at night. Founded in 1863 and originally called Dunedin High School, it is one of the oldest boys' secondary schools in New Zealand. The main building was designed by architect Robert Lawson and completed in 1885. Robert Lawson was born in Scotland and came to Dunedin in 1862 having won a competition to design the First Presbyterian Church of Otago. He went on to design some of Dunedin's most beautiful buildings including Knox Church and Larnach Castle.
