Dunedin Sound at Toitu
#86 Do - Tonight I got a front seat at the Toitu Otago Settlers Museum 'Dunedin Sound Music Evening' as part of the Rugby 2017 Festival Programme. Dunedin is such a musical city, it even has its own sound! The 'Dunedin Sound' - style of indie pop music - was created in the 1980s and in its prime in the 1990s (I've only recently discovered this - thanks to Jay at The Daily Coffee Co!) which helped develop a great music scene in our city. The event tonight was for locals and visitors to experience a variety of Dunedin music. I was lucky to hear the fabulous Matt Langley and the fun, energetic Bulletproof Convertible before ducking away to dinner. Isn't there something super cool about a double bass
