Dutybound Bookbinding

#89 Buy - a locally made notebook from Dutybound, in Crawford St, Dunedin. It's a bookbinding, design and preservation business locally owned and run by David Stedman. He's had the business for 12 years but he's been binding and restoring books for over 30 years. It's fun to see the old machinery and hear it whirring away, with one dating from the 1880s. For someone who loves vintage, quality, craftsmanship and beautifully made products, walking into this artisan bookbinding business, I wanted to buy everything! Beautiful books, pencils and cards, David does a wonderful job. He even has a local beer named in his honour - Emerson's Bookbinder!
