New New New Beer

#97 Drink - New New New beer! Locally brewed in Crawford St in the original stables for the horse-drawn trams of Dunedin, which was built during the gold rush in the 1860s. It's a super cool spot to pick up some beer. New New New was founded by local Ian McKinlay, who grew up in Dunedin and spent time living in Hong Kong, they have really interesting beers - 'Pepper Pepper Pepper' Chilli Pilsner, 'Rubus Couture' Raspberry Saison, 'Poppy' Poppy Seed Ale, there is even a 'Fear Not' Smoked Eel Stout - I had a wee taste of this one, intriguing smokiness! Although they haven't yet officially opened (this will happen in about a month) their taproom is open on Friday evenings for a couple of hours. I popped in this evening, it was buzzing with other keen beer drinkers. Excited to try this great selection of local beer
