Oaken
#100 - perfect start to Monday, a long black from Oaken before a run. Locally owned by Linda and Sam (mum and son team) they opened in May last year. In what was a carpark, they have a cool container style space, with exposed concrete brick and big windows where you can sit and watch the world go by. They wanted the cafe to represent them, and one part of that was offering the 'best ever cookie' with every hot drink served, the recipe was one Sam grew up with, and it really is a cute delicious little treat on the side. Great coffee, yummy chai latte and in a cool space, it's a great local spot.
