I met the friendly owner Darcy at the market on Saturday, having bought their Kombucha and Southern Chipotle BBQ Sauce at Wal's during the week. I was intrigued to try the Kombucha, a centuries-old fermented tea drink that kept popping up in news and conversations. I tried it for the first time today and discovered it's delicious, a little bit spritzy and not too sweet. The BBQ sauce has great smoky flavour and was perfect on pizza. Darcy and his wife came to New Zealand from Canada in 2007, he's so passionate and knowledgeable about his products which also include spices and Moonshine. Keeping them natural with real ingredients, no artificial flavours or fillers was a key focus, back to basics and top quality - brilliant.
