#140 Do - listen to Ciaran McMeeken - I was lucky to hear Ciaran and his band last night at The Savoy, the first concert of his tour supporting the release of his debut album. It's a great collection of sounds, soul, rock, jazz, blues - especially love the song Spanish Steps, so beautiful turned up loud in the car. Ciaran grew up in Arrowtown and Dunedin and is now based in Auckland. It was when he was working on a farm in the Owaka Valley in Southland, the farmer gave him some life advice 'just get on with it mate' which started off his music career. His tour heads to Queenstown, Wellington and Auckland next. We're so lucky with the Dunedin music scene and the amazing artists and concerts that come to our city
