Karetai Track

#142 Do - Karetai track from Highcliff side. You can park at the end of Karetai Road. It's a quick down and slow up for a burst of fresh air and great views. Yesterday I did part of the track and today I did a loop down, over the stile and along a narrow cliff track, got slightly lost around the beach end and back up from Karetai Road Lower. Although stunning views, the cliff track did give me the heebie jeebies! It seems to be on the wrong side of the fence, but I'm guessing this is all private property and if you have children or pets or are a bit scared of heights then definitely stick to the main track (don't go over the stile). It was fun to explore!
