Mazagran

#164 Buy - excellent coffee from Mazagran Espresso Bar. Locally owned by Chris and established 20 years ago, they roast all the coffee beans on-site in the tiny, cute store. A great space, with nice old exposed brick, they even have a large blackboard on the wall that you can pop your name down on the roster to create a piece of chalk art, which is displayed for 2 to 3 weeks. Mazagran (named after an iced coffee drink that originated in Algeria in 1840) is tucked away in Moray Place, one of my favourite little shopping areas of Dunedin, with a cluster of local retailers around. Wrapped up warm, I sat and enjoyed my coffee out the front today
