Indian Food Mart

#165 Buy - today I stocked up my little spice jars with spices from the Indian Food Mart in St Andrew Street. Locally owned by Harjit, he offers a fantastic range of spices, grains, dried fruits, nuts and many specialty Indian, Asian and Middle Eastern foods. Harjit is lovely to talk to, he made Dunedin home 13 years ago when his children were here completing their education. Originally from Northern India, he moved to NZ from Botswana where he was working as an engineer. The shop smells amazing and holds so many interesting products, totally worth checking out. Will attempt Nadia's homemade turmeric latte with all my turmeric!
