Otago Potters Group Exhibition

#208 Do - check out the Otago Potters Group annual exhibition on until Saturday at the Community Gallery in Princes St. These beautiful beakers by the guest artist at the show, Dunedin ceramic artist Mike Tannock, caught my eye, I love the colour and the unique design features on each. Mike also teaches ceramic night classes at the Otago Polytechnic. The Potters Group was established 55 years ago, bringing together people who love pottery and ceramics. They offer memberships giving access to their workshop facilities in South Dunedin which include wheels for throwing, kilns and areas for glazing. Each year their exhibition is a chance to see (and buy!) the work of these talented locals in our community.
