The Lawrence Mint

#209 Eat - delicious sweet treats from The Lawrence Mint. Locally owned by Alisa, she opened her patisserie and chocolate shop in December 2016 having renovated a very cute old building in the main street of Lawrence. Originally from Queensland in Australia, Alisa was managing a wedding venue and had her own wedding catering company and picnic restaurant. She made the move to lovely, historic Lawrence for a change of pace. Specialising in hand made tarts, truffles, chocolates and old fashioned confectionery (she uses locally grown seasonal fruit in her treats when possible), I was very excited to stop in and pick up these beautiful tarts on our way to Central Otago today.
