Roxburgh Golf Course
#217 Do - Hit (or in my case, attempt to...) a golf ball around the Roxburgh Golf Course. Set in the middle of rocky Central Otago terrain, between the Clutha River and the Old Man mountain range, it was established in 1904 and the course is virtually unchanged since then. The course won the ‘Hidden Gem’ award in 2015/16 and with stunning views and rocky challenges, it’s easy to see why. You just never know when a ball heading in the wrong direction (a regular occurrence for me), hits a big rock and rebounds right back on track. Just 2 balls lost in the tussock and rock today... The course is a great journey break when heading to or from Central Otago
