McNally Track Milton
#223 Do - head up the McNally Track on the outskirts of Milton. Following the yellow markers straight up a fence line through sheep paddocks was easy to find, after that the track was a wee bit vague at times, which way to go? But I found the Kowhai Loop and a few places to sit and see the beautiful view. I didn’t managed to do all of the 7km return main track (as I couldn’t work out quite where to go!) but it felt great to be out and I left keen to re-explore another day. Named after Mr Tom McNally, a long serving Milton police officer, the track opened in 1980 and offers green rolling hills and rural scenery with great views.
