Black’s Road Green Grocer

#233 Buy - fresh produce from Black’s Road Green Grocer in the North East Valley. A great little general corner store, locally owned by Christopher, who took it over in April this year having returned home to Dunedin after a few years away. He offers great fresh fruit and veges, I love that there are many locally produced goods (including Hammerhead, Amazelnuts, Pasta d’Oro, Hearth bread, Evansdale cheese), locally made cakes and biscuits and Christopher even makes a range of chutneys and jams. With lots of vintage decoration, it’s a fun little store. Today I picked up some delicious fresh strawberries, the truly fresh ones that smell like strawberries 🍓(I’m one of those people who loves to smell the fruit!)
