Motupōhue (Bluff)
#236 Do - explore the Bluff Hill/Motupōhue Scenic Reserve. Early this morning I headed off from Stirling Point, up the Glory Track and onto the Tōpuni Track to the summit of Motupōhue. A bit misty, windy and rainy, the view was a tad limited, so I headed down the Millennium Track that led to the Foveaux Walkway back to Stirling Point. An 8km loop filled with history, with many informative panels along the way, from Māori history to military history, sealing, whaling, and flax trade history. And some wild coastal scenery along the way. The wind gusts helped push me back to Stirling Point 💨 How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful place.
