Caselberg Trust

#237 Do - view the artworks for auction at the Blue Oyster Art Project Space in Dowling St, with proceeds raised going to the Caselberg Trust. Set up in 2006, the Caselberg Trust purchased a cottage in Broad Bay, originally owned by Anna and John Caselberg. Anna was an artist and John a poet, playwright, critic and short story writer. The Trust offers residency programs across all creative media, where artists are given the space and time to develop their work in a serene setting overlooking the Otago Harbour. Almost 40 artists from around New Zealand have generously contributed pieces of art for this fabulous cause (the auction is this Saturday evening). I popped in and had a look at the artworks today, I especially like the colours and design of this piece by Kim Lowe called Dragon Dream
