#243 Buy - golf lessons from Shelley Duncan at the Otago Golf Club. With hopes of being 'just like Lydia', I needed some good advice (plus a whole heap of practice!). So the best thing I did was sign up for a series of 6 lessons with Shelley, who started playing golf at 10 years old when she lived right on the 6th hole at the Otago course. She headed to the University of Oklahoma on a golf scholarship and was a touring golf professional in the USA before returning home to Dunedin. She has since coached many New Zealand teams and offers video analysis and great advice in her covered shed (known as Shelley’s Shed), she’s super patient and encouraging. Today was my last lesson, and we played 5 holes, and I got my first birdie! Just like Lydia....... almost
