Invercargill Brewery
#244 Buy - A 'boysenbeery' fruit beer by Invercargill Brewery. Fresh, fruity but not overly sweet, this berry beer was a perfect end to the week. Steve and Amanda established their business in 1999, starting in a dairy shed in Oteramika Road on the outskirts of Invercargill (it had a big tree out the back that features on their label). They've since moved into a huge old building space in Leet Street in Invercargill, where I discovered their brewery last week and picked up a selection of beers to bring home. Fantastic to read the stories behind the brews on the website. I’ll have to try their apple cider next, love that it’s made with Ettrick apples.
