A Road Trip...

We’ve arrived! So I'm currently a wee way away from Otago and Southland. A road trip through Germany and Austria is the plan for the next few weeks for us. It may be a little tough with my almost complete lack of German (I have nailed the greetings!) but we are excited to find little local producers, learn the local history and get off the beaten track. And of course eat local food. To have the opportunity to travel, experience and explore (at home and away) is amazing, I feel very lucky. I'll be back celebrating local in the South again soon but in the meantime, our first stop is this castle on the outskirts of Frankfurt....
