Küss die Hand in Füssen

#256 Eat - on a day spent exploring King Ludwig of Bavaria's Neuschwanstein Castle, we stumbled across a tiny restaurant Küss die Hand, tucked away off the main street of Füssen, a small Bavarian town. Locally owned by husband and wife team Irina and Jürgen, Küss die Hand was a change of pace from working in the film industry for them. With a focus on seasonal and local produce, they have a simple but delicious menu with a great apple strudel. Irina is a lovely host, she explained to me the poster behind the counter is of a famous Austrian film from the 1950s, Sissi, which is often screened around Christmas. The hunt is now on to find a copy! Filled with locals, it was a fabulous wee find.
