#261 Buy - off to the opera in a locally designed and made dress by Dunedin designer, Darlene Gore. Darlene was 18 when she first learnt to sew and when the Otago Polytechnic first offered the diploma in fashion design in the early 1990s, she was in the first graduate class. She's inspired by beautiful fabrics, fine tailoring and classic design, which is everything I love about this silk and wool dress I bought from Darlene in Guild. First outing - Don Pasquale at the State Opera House in Vienna!
