Luna in Roslyn

#291 Do - Pop in to Luna in Roslyn. Established in 2008, Luna has outdoor balconies with incredible views over the city and down the harbour. On a warm summer evening, it was a great spot for wine with friends. Roslyn the suburb was established in 1862 when James Kilgour subdivided his property into 56 sections. Thought to be originally named Rosslyn, after a village south of Edinburgh in Scotland (and also after Mr Kilgour’s wife’s maiden name Ross), it apparently became Roslyn when a signwriter either attempted to save costs or made a mistake and dropped the second s!
