Waitangi Day - Celebrate being a Kiwi
#325 Do - On Waitangi Day, celebrate what it means to be a New Zealander. I headed to Toitū this morning and listened to local historian Bill Dacker talk about the Treaty of Waitangi, local Māori and the early settlement of Otago. So interesting to learn of those before us and to reflect on what it means to be a Dunedinite. I love that we embrace learning about our history, heritage, people and all the different cultures that make our community special and that we live in a safe, peaceful and beautiful place.
