Kakanui Tomatoes
#347 Eat - Sweet Kakanui tomatoes. There is something special about the rich and fertile soil in the tiny coastal town of Kakanui that grows delicious produce, and they’re famous for growing excellent tomatoes. I recently picked some up from the Kakanui Tasty Treats stall at the Otago Farmers Market. They make a great pearl barley, prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato salad
