Peter Lorimer’s Knives
#348 Do - Step inside Peter Lorimer's workshop, tucked down the end of the main street of Omakau, to see incredible local craftsmanship. This is the fascinating space where Peter handcrafts his beautiful knives. He uses local materials such as bone, timber and paua for the handles combined with Austrian steel for the blades. His knives are mostly made to order, including cute little herb knives, oyster shuckers, cheese knives and beautiful carving knives. Loved walking in recently, meeting Peter and seeing these artisan knives in production.
