Otago University Campus Tour

#363 Do - Stroll the University of Otago campus. Otago is New Zealand's first university, established in 1869. It attracts up to 20,000 students every year, with most living in the 'student quarters' of North Dunedin and holds many great memories for me, having had the opportunity to study here. I learnt of an informative self-directed walking tour (map from the visitor centre or online on the Otago website) that leads you through some of the historic areas of the university. There are many beautiful old buildings, including stepping inside the clocktower building where the floor tiles date back to 1879. Fun to be a tourist in our city today.
