#Eat - Scrumptious ice cream made in Dunedin by Patti’s & Cream. Locally owned by Olive, she started her mobile ice cream and burger business earlier this year after 7 years at Nova Cafe. She restored a very cool 1980s Bedford truck, and often parks at St Clair so we can enjoy ice cream at the beach 🏖 You’ll also find Olive’s truck popping up at events around the region. Love that she includes many local ingredients in her icy treats, including Bay Road peanut butter, cookies from Caked By Gem (yesterday I discovered these two are an excellent combination👌), Central Otago lavender, plums and honey, organic Dunedin apples and milk from Windy Ridge Farm near Balclutha. And I’m super excited to try her soon to be released Central Otago pinot noir ice cream....
