Jenny Mitchell
#Do - Listen to Jenny Mitchell, an incredibly talented local songwriter. Growing up in Gore (the country music capital of NZ), she's been singing in public since she was 4 years old. She has multiple awards behind her, including NZ Gold Guitar Overall Winner in 2017. She released her first album, The Old Oak, when she was just 15 years old. Now based in Dunedin, Jenny performed this afternoon at the Otago Museum, accompanied by Mike Hood from Moeraki. I love her blend of country, folk and Americana and her storytelling lyrics.
