Jardin du Luxembourg

#Do - A lap of the Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens). Planted in 1612, the gardens were created as part of the palace built for Marie de Medici, wife of the King Henry IV of France. 23 hectares right in the centre of Paris, it is a peaceful place with hundreds of chairs placed around immaculate fountains, statues, lawns, tree lined promenades. PJ and I headed to the gardens for an early morning jog, locals seem to do an anticlockwise loop so we followed along 🌷
