Clutha Outlet Track
The clear blue waters of the Clutha outlet track heading towards Albert Town. This 3km riverside section is part of both the Te Araroa trail and the Mighty Clutha River Trail. Biking the return trip from Wanaka to Albert Town on Sunday morning with my sister-in-law, I loved that the track is so well maintained and almost completely flat. Admittedly, I did get a tiny bit rattled on my vintage bicycle on the odd tree root and rock without suspension, but it is one stunning ride.
