The Lindis Pass - for our journey home south, we came via Central Otago over the Lindis. Otago surveyor John Turnbull Thomson traversed the Lindis Pass in 1857 and named it after Lindisfarne Island, near his home in the north east of England. As we drove through, I noticed a few DoC tracks that Iād love to return to and explore over summer šāāļø
