Cairnmuir Track
Views from the Cairnmuir Track above Cromwell. So far, I’ve only managed to get about 3km into this 25km track that connects Cromwell to Clyde. It starts with quite a steep (and slightly off-putting) climb but leads to fantastic views and landscapes. Starting from the Cornish Point Road track entry, on Sunday it was 25 degrees, sunny and very hot, quite a contrast to these misty, wintry scenes I found when I did the track a few months ago.
