An Artificial Wonderland
A section of Yang Yongliang’s fascinating Artificial Wonderland. The Dunedin Public Art Gallery currently has some brilliant exhibitions to check out. This Artificial Wonderland has such incredible detail and the Shanghai-born artist’s work is described as examining ‘urbanisation, globalisation and the contemporary relationship to the landscape’. Fun to learn that Yang Yongliang spent time in Dunedin in March this year as part of an International Visiting Artist Programme by the Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
