Sweet, juicy, and so much flavour - I bought these ‘rose diamond’ nectarines from Moorpark & Mulberry near Cromwell. Locally owned by Mike and Helen, they bought the established orchard in 2012. The orchard has fruit trees up to 120 years old and they have also planted many more, with a focus on the older, heritage varieties that are less commonly found, such as the Moorpark apricot. They leave their fruit on the tree longer to ripen, giving the extra sweetness and flavour. A taste of summer while listening to the rain pour today.
