Bozeman, Montana

Bozeman in Montana reminded me of Dunedin - a place people live, experience and are often drawn back to. With the outdoors and many trails on their doorstep, Bozeman’s also a university town with lovely old buildings. Their main street is lined with independent shops, coffee roasters, eateries and art galleries. We found cute local stores including Architect’s Wife (cool caravan) and Heyday for locally designed products. Had great food at Montana Ale Works, where I loved their note about using local produce. Found a small batch, Bozeman made ice cream by the Genuine Ice Cream Co. So yum. Explored the vintage stores, including the Antique Barn and wished I had space in my bag, but the sled really was too big, no sneaking into PJ’s bag this time! And we made it to some craft breweries, Bridger Brewing and MAP Brewing. MAP’s Strange Cattle IPA was fruity delicious, and love that the company name comes from an appreciation of the map - exploring, road trips and the pursuit of adventure. Seeing this in Bozeman does make me appreciate so much what we have in our cool little city - and love celebrating it.
