Fraser Dam (attempt #1)

Last weekend I took myself up a track towards Fraser Dam in the hills above Alexandra/Clyde. Unfortunately I got to a point where I wondered if I was meant to be there, signs indicating ‘contractors only’ past certain points with massive pipes and machinery around. Turns out they’re building a new hydro scheme on the Fraser River. So I ended up turning around and heading down, quite steep at points, but loved the view as I descended. Keen to try this track again once the construction is complete as there are walks, bike tracks and fishing in and around the Fraser Dam area.
