The Arrow Anniversary Walk - completed in 1998 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of European settlement in Otago. This week my base has been the family bach in Arrowtown to do a course as part of my horticulture studies. After a few bleak rainy days mostly inside, I loved getting out (huddled under my umbrella) for this walk next to the Arrow River. The hills still look so pretty with the autumn colours and the fog lingering.
